Now Im not even sure I will be able to start my new job on Tuesday. The secretary proceeds to tell me that I missed my appointment and I can not be seen today. When I arrive to my appointment *on time* the waiting room is empty. I start a new job on Tuesday I made an appointment weeks ago for today. I understand mistakes can be made which is why I didnt write this review before. One even burning my childs finger by accident when attempting to freeze a wart and telling her to just suck it up as she screamed in pain. But this practice does NOT! I will not name the doctors out of respect but they have been rude and harsh with my children. I understand this isnt uncommon for a really great practice that has amazing bedside manner. I have brought my children and my husband as well and every single time *always with an appointment * I wait for over an hour. I made that mistake a year ago being new to the area. That is some good return at over $100/minute.We are looking for a new practice as the only thing to do is vote with your wallet.ĭo not waste your time giving Vienna Family Medicine a try. The entire process takes about an hour of our time - but about 3 mins of the PA. It is $200 just to stick your head in the door - they dont even have to do anything - just show up and write a check. Very frustrating.We just paid nearly $2K for 4 visits - about 3 mins each - to get a tiny wart frozen of my sons toe. When they cant help you - call back in to the office and go through the voice prompts and end up with someone who doesnt have access to the information and has to hand it off to someone else. I called to get billing help - they send you to one of two other clearing houses. Now they are part of inova medical group or whatever - and once again - fill out all the history, hipa. Then they joined another - again requiring all forms to be filled out. Been going to this practice for nearly 10 years and they get worse each and every year.They started out as a standard family practice, then they partnered with some other practice requiring all the forms to be filled out again. I hope people find this very helpful, please don’t come to this office especially with that irresponsible doctor. We definitely changed that doctor, never ever. But that is emergency, for 4 days no response at all. I understand to give you 24 hours for non urgent call.
I am a mother and all of you out there if you are a mother what would you do ? I have to do something about it. Folks now you judge how terrible is that doctor.
But she insist she said you don’t want to damage your kidney, really ! She has a family history and has had some chronic headaches. Can you please consider a test to see if I have one. We were asking her to give her an order for MRI, my daughter even mentioned to her on her last visit that her aunt passed away from aneurysm. Then we found out that she has had aneurysm. Then during at work my daughter almost fainted at work due to her headaches and dizziness. We left messaged Thursday and Friday and Saturday no response still, so my daughter had to go to work even though she is not feeling so well. Then we waited and we treat her at home with medications that she prescribed but it doesn’t seems to work. No response at all and been calling and my daughter sent a messages thru portal and no responses still. A day after her visit her headaches got worse and my daughter can’t even move and make a phone call so I made a call and left messages to her office. My daughter went to see her on Sept 20 almost two weeks ago for her headaches issues, it’s been going on for a while. My daughter is a patient of SHIVA VATANKHANI, she is a terrible Doctor, unbelievable and ridiculous. I wish I can give negative 5 star, I don’t usually write a review but this time I have to warn other patients who goes in this office (Vienna Family Medicine) or who is looking for a Doctor please read my reviews first.
